April is an exciting time in Western North Carolina, as we will see the local tailgate markets opening again.  A few of the local farmers have been making their way to our kitchen door, but with Spring rain and warmer weather, gardens are beginning to bloom and the fresh tender produce we love to see arrive at market.

Our real season begins once the final buzzer of the NCAA tournament is over Monday night and the tax man is satisfied.  A good time to either come in and lick your wounds or celebrate.  We are happy to help you with both.

Perry will be working on new seasonal menus in the next few day, our wine list receives it's "Spring Cleaning" and with just a few more degrees of afternoon heat, the patio tables come out of Winter storage.

On Friday, April 4 - FLS Energy was here to finish final details for our solar hot water installation, to begin on Monday!  Hopefully by the end of the month 80% of our hot water needs will be solar powered!
